Dean Gamble and Jeffrey Kaufman are your candidates for the County Council elections on Thursday 6th May 2021.
See the Liberal Democrat plan for a real change for Leicestershire.
Dean is a former local caterer and has lived in Oadby for most of his life.
With over 20 years’ experience representing Oadby, Dean has a reputation for his determination to help local residents. He is a well-known past Chair of Oadby Residents’ Forum where local people decide spending in Oadby.
Jeffrey is a retired recruitment consultant & founder member of the Oadby & Wigston Multi Cultural Group, having lived in Oadby for over 40 years.
First elected to the County Council in 1981, he is experienced at representing Oadby on the County Council during times of big Conservative spending cuts.
If re-elected, Jeffrey and Dean will:
- Work for fair funding of our local services & extra govt. help promised to cover costs due to Covid-19.
- Oppose govt. planning proposals that threaten our protected green spaces.
- Fight Conservative plans to swallow up Oadby into a “super council” of over 600,000 people.
